LOGIN: info.ardianasf@gmail.org
PASSWORD: KaleMary1781

2. Navigate

Find the page you want to edit and click on it.

3. enter edit page mode

Hover over the left side of the page, where the banner image meets the dark gray background era. A box will pop up with "Page Content | EDIT | BANNER | SETTINGS". Click on EDIT. This will unlock the content on the page and enable you to edit this page and this page only. If you are trying to edit content and it's not working, it's probably because you've forgotten this step.

4. EDITING/REPLACING TEXT

Similar to a word processor, you can simply highlight text and start typing to replace it. A single return will include ample space after a line, so there's no need to hit return twice to put space between lines.

5. Bolding Prices

Again, like a word processor, simply select the price, and hit the B for bold on the text edit bar above.

6a. Copying and pasting larger amounts of text

You can copy a full section of the menu into the text box for that section. If you paste text from another program like Microsoft Word or Google Drive, the text can carry over hidden styling that interferes with how your content displays. This is bad, because it will prevent you from properly formatting text in SquareSpace.

To get around this you have to use a function called 'Paste as Plain Text.' (see below)

6B. pasting in plain text

Select the text that you want to replace, or place your cursor where you want to insert text. Click on the Past as Plain Text icon in the formatting bar.

6C. plain text window

1. Paste text here

2. Remove any extra returns at the end of the text

3. Click OK

6d. Formatting prices and headers

If you've replaced the section header, format that as Header 1.

To format pricing, select just the dollar sign and number and click on bold.

7. saving

When you're done editing, at the top of the window you should see a band that says SAVE | CANCEL Editing 'Page Content'. Click on SAVE.

4. Understanding the basic structure of this page

The press mentions are in a 4 column structure. With the publication title and article title in a text block, and a Read More button block below. Both the article title and the button link to the article.

To add additional press mentions, you have to insert them above a current press mention. As you add press mentions, you want to balance them across the columns, so add to column 1, then column 2, then 3, then 4, then cycle back through.

Always add press mentions ABOVE the existing ones, as we want the newest mentions at the top.
